Overview
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Croatia's accession to the European Union, the European Commission sought to spotlight success stories of individuals and businesses who have benefited from EU funding. Dialog Agency, the production firm behind the project, engaged our team to create a series of captivating visual elements. Working in collaboration with Digital Kartel, who handled video production, we were tasked with developing the motion graphics and animations for this high-profile project. Notably, the entire process—from briefing and pitching the initial storyboard to revisions and final delivery—was accomplished within an exceptionally tight four-day timeline.
Project Goals
- Highlight EU Impact: Showcase the transformative effects of EU funding on Croatian citizens and businesses over the past decade.
- Engage Audience: Create an engaging and visually appealing animation that would resonate with the audience at the award ceremony and beyond.
- Consistency in Branding: Ensure that all visual components, from the opening motion to the final animation, were cohesive and aligned with the European Commission's branding.
Our Contribution
- Opening Motion Design: We designed the initial opening motion for each documentary-style video, setting a cohesive and professional tone for the series. This introduction was crucial in aligning with the European Commission’s branding and enhancing viewer engagement.
- Comprehensive Visual Package: Beyond the opening motions, we developed a full visual package for each success story video. This included custom animations, lower thirds, title cards, and transitions, ensuring a high level of consistency and visual appeal across all videos.
- 30-Second Animated Showcase: As the project’s highlight, we produced a dynamic 30-second animation that showcased all the success stories. This final animation served as a powerful summary of the project and was prominently featured at the award ceremony, where it received accolades for its creativity and effectiveness.
